LH2 Storage Terminal

Latrobe Valley hydrogen transported on the Suiso Frontier will arrive at the Port of Kobe, where it will be unloaded into the specially-designed storage tank at the liquefied hydrogen unloading and storage terminal.

Location: Kobe, Japan

The Port of Kobe is one of the leading international trading ports in Japan.

The terminal is equipped with the largest liquefied hydrogen tank in Japan and the world’s first loading arm for unloading liquefied hydrogen from the Suiso Frontier.

The terminal facility is managed by Iwatani Corporation, the only company in Japan with experience in commercial handling of liquefied hydrogen.
